Please welcome the poster child for RAUH-welt BEGRIFF; RWB #001 - Stella Artois. RAUH-welt BEGRIFF translates from German to "rough world concept." The creator of the RWB bodywork; Akira Nakai, likes to drive his cars in a "rough style," and expresses his creativity in his work.

In his earlier years, he was into the street-drifting scene and was known as one of the first to lower his car to the ground, have excessive camber, and known in Japan as "oni-kyan," - "demon-camber." Years later, he had his first chance to work on these cars while he worked at a local body shop. He became fascinated by their mechanics and he saw a lot of potential for their appearance. He was 28 years old when he purchased his first 930 which became the legendary "Stella Artois."

All bodywork is created in-house by him and shaped and sanded by hand before painting custom colours he mixes himself. He approaches every RWB project with getting to know the owner so he can create something completely personalized based on the owner's interests and personality. An RWB transformation could take anywhere between a few months to one year depending on the design. Along with the aesthetic of the car, he will also send the car to specialists who handle the suspension, brakes, and powertrain to complete the look. Once completed, the car will be given a name that reflects the work and it's owner.

The infamous B5 RS4; one of the most favourited avants of all time! This first-generation RS4 debuted in 1999 and could only be purchased in Europe, parts of Asia, and parts of Latin America. This RS4 was also only manufactured in limited numbers, which makes it a highly sought after vehicle.

Since this avant was made with wider axles, it's exterior was designed as a widebody; wider fenders. This changed the aerodynamics of the car compared to it's S4 version.

While this was one of the fastest wagons at the time with it's 2.7 V6 biturbo engine developed and tuned by Cosworth, it still was able to handle wet or dry conditions with it's all-wheel drive system that gripped and made the driver feel completely in control at all times. It's power-to-weight ratio was ranked as best overall at the time as well. However with that being said, this avant was still able to make daily driving a breeze.

This Group B S1 E2 was an absolute monster and one of the most powerful Group B rally cars! With it's unique 2.1L inline 5 engine, it was stated to produce 470hp, but believed to actually be around 500hp due to it's turbo. However, with the unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances, the Group B era was short-lived. But to this day, that era is still legendary among rally fans and automotive enthusiasts in general.

The Ur-quattro which was introduced in 1980, was an opportunity for them to show off their new all-wheel drive system that would go on to be a benchmark for future cars fitted with this drivetrain.

The S1 E2 was introduced in 1984 and underwent weight reductions such as replacing steel components with kevlar or aluminum compared to the Ur-quattro. Some components were also relocated towards the rear and had a shorter wheelbase. Also, with it's enhanced engine, it was able to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 3.1 seconds which made this one of the most powerful rally cars ever built.

Please say "hello" to the euro car collab, the first ever RS model, and the first model of theirs to not be electronically limited;
the RS2 Avant!

During the '90s, they wanted to boost their image and keep up with the M3, but they realized that the Ingolstadt engineers were far too busy developing the A4, A6, and A8 models to be distracted with their idea of the RS2. This is when they asked for help with developing their fast, niche estate avant. Think of it as the other manufacturer had "owed them one" after they built their 924's, and 944's during the '60s, and early '70s. This was also an opportunity for them to share their technology and engineering with other clientele.

The team produced the RS2 in Zuffenhausen’s historic Rössle building – the same site where the 500 E was built. The other brand was responsible for providing new parts and development services, while they took care of painted body parts and components that could be transferred from other models. The other brand also wanted their contribution to be immediately clear that it was mechanically developed by them and have the two associations clear. The red brake calipers, side mirror housings, front bumper with its indicators and sidelights, and the famous five-spoke 17-inch wheels were a clear indication that the car was made by them. They also completely overhauled the engine with new gear wheels for the first gear, new turbo, new fuel injectors, along with many other parts that had to be re-engineered and made using new components. As well as the bumper that had to be completely adapted to fit it's much larger cooling system. If that wasn't enough, the name of the other manufacturer is also in small letters, on the badges on the front grille and the tailgate. This first RS badge also separates the ‘R’ from the ‘S2’, indicating this is the Renn version of their pre-existing S2 model.

With a relatively low production number of 2,891 units, it is a rare sight nowadays but will forever be a highly respected collab.

Outstanding performance comes in a tiny package in an 8V RS3 saloon. This four-door packs a punch with it's 400 hp turbocharged 2.5L inline five-cylinder engine, all-wheel-drive, and DSG, and definitely looks aggressive enough to be claimed as more than just a regular sedan to the average eye. The 8V RS3 will hit 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds which beats it's direct competitors such as the AMG CLA-class, and the M2.

The 1990 W201 190E 2.5-16 Evolution II; known as one of the most iconic homologated race cars. It was the makers final model in the run of DTM cars from the late '80s and early '90s. By the time 1990 came around, the 190E had a larger 2.5L I4 compared to it's previous version as the DTM battle of the brands had escalated. The Evo II also came standard with the PowerPack which had an output of 232hp and 181 lb-ft of torque paired with a 5 speed dogleg manual gearbox. This was the last racing engine developed by the maker before MB-AMG took over. Other enhancements were the hydraulic rear suspension with adjustable ride height, and the enhanced aero package for reducing drag and increased downforce.

Understandably, this car has a hefty price tag if you are looking for one today, but it is known as one of the coolest sedans ever made.

The Mk1 Golf was built to be the Beetle's successor at the time as sales of the Beetle were dropping significantly. With the combined teamwork of engineers from many brands, this new model at the time proved to be just as loved as the original Beetle.

The Mk1 Golf was a simple hatchback body style combined with front wheel drive, and a transverse mounted water cooled four cylinder front-engine which would be the inspiration for every car manufacturer around the world. Although initially they wanted to create a compact family car that was as packaging efficient as possible, they did follow up later with adding a full-size trunk and creating the "Jetta." A five door version of the Golf quickly followed, as well as cabriolets, and pick-up trucks. Since the Golf/Rabbit was intended to be a small family car, the engine choices reflected this. In Europe, engines started with a 1.1L, but North American models got a 1.5L, as well as a 1.5L diesel version. Well known as a Mk1 Golf, it was also referred to as the "Rabbit" in the US because it was meant to be small and nimble, and "Golf" sounded too upscale for a car aimed for young buyers.

We chose to illustrate this modified green Mk1 Golf to showcase the original body style, as well as the modern style modifications we see now-a-days.

The first turbocharged racing 911, and the Le Mans Legend: The (R13) 1974 911 RSR 2.1 Turbo. This was the final of only four RSR 2.1 Turbos built. It is among one of the most important racing cars of theirs in existence with it's victory of 2nd overall at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Herbert Müller and Gijs van Lennep despite losing the car's fifth gear.

This car takes credit as having proved the German auto-maker's race car manufacturing capabilities. They wanted to produce a race car that looked like the 911s available to consumers, and with the 930 production (marketed as the 911 Turbo), the RSR 2.1 was born.

Their racing division developed the turbocharged 2.1-liter flat-six, which made 450 hp. With its air/oil-cooled, magnesium-crankcase engine, Bosch mechanical fuel injection, and KKK turbocharger and intercooler, it was able to push 500 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque. The five-speed transaxle with it's own oil cooler paired with that engine for the most part, was recognizable as a 911, but was hardly stock. The RSR had fiberglass fenders, doors, front and rear valances, and front and rear decklids which were all engineered for weight reduction which made the RSR 2.1 weighing in at just over 1,800 pounds. It also had extremely wide flared fenders, and a huge rear wing to keep the car stable at high speeds. All four of the RSR 2.1 Turbos built for the 1974 racing season would all have the famous Martini Racing red and blue livery that we have illustrated by the distinguishable colours.

The R13 goes down in history as one of the most successful 1974 RSR 2.1 Turbo and during it's retirement, it had just five owners after it left the team in 1975. It received an engine rebuild in the early 2000s, but remains in it's original condition bearing all of the flaws it received during it's racing career.

Many claim that this European auto maker's GT2 RS is the craziest road-ready 911 that has rolled out of the factory and has been famously referred to as the "widowmaker" for good reason. While the 991.1 generation didn't get a GT2 version, the 991.2 indeed did!

The initial reveal was at Microsoft's E3 event in 2017 and was launched at the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Fans were astonished by the silver and carbon scheme, it's aggressive bodykit, and massive rear wing. The roof was made with magnesium for the ultimate weight reduction and they incorporated as much carbon fiber as they could. The rear and side windows are made of polycarbonate instead of glass which is stronger for impact and as one could expect, is lighter than glass. The standard package also came with a fully titanium exhaust. The Weissach package used even more carbon fiber and titanium and had a set of magnesium wheels. The latest GT2 RS had a rear 3.8L twin-turbocharged flat-six engine making 700 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque and was combined with a PDK only. The lack of a manual option had enthusiasts quite upset, however, the GT2 RS was insanely fast and holds multiple track records. At the time of it's launch, the GT2 RS was the fastest producion car around the Nurburgring before the Aventador SVJ took over.

The 991.2 GT2 RS is like no other and will go down in history along with the auto maker's legacy.
